Based on two decades of clinical experience

Mesenchymal stromal cells

Through their regenerative, immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory effects, mesenchymal stromal cells (MSC) have the potential to cure or prevent many chronic diseases. They are believed to primarily work through close interaction with other cells through cell-to-cell signalling.

Cellcolabs’ cells

Cellcolabs builds on the findings and clinical experience from more than 20 years of stem cell research at Karolinska Institutet. World renowned stem cell professor Katarina Le Blanc with research group has published 167 scientific papers with 30 000 citations (as of 2021), resulting in exceptional MSC quality. The MSC are derived from bone marrow and have been MPA approved for use in two academic clinical trials in Sweden, with more clinical trials to come. Cellcolabs provides both GLP and GMP versions of the cells.
