Why are you here?

As a physician, I have witnessed the challenges that patients face grappling with chronic diseases, often stemming from the consequences of aging and chronic inflammation. It underscores the critical need for innovative and preventative treatments. MSCs, with their regenerative, immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory effects, hold immense potential in not only alleviating but also potentially curing or preventing a myriad of chronic diseases.

What is your background?

I am a physician and hold an MD degree from Uppsala University. After my internship training at Karolinska University Hospital in Huddinge, I have primarily worked as a physician in geriatric hospitals in Stockholm. I delved into the world of stem cells as a research assistant at the Karolinska Institute and conducted my master thesis about MSCs at Tohoku University in Japan.

Is there something else that we should know about you?

I am a passionate traveller with an adventurous spirit, having explored over 60 countries, often embarking on solo journeys. I believe my curious nature aligns with the spirit of innovation and discovery that defines Cellcolabs.
